Caminandes and the Economy of a Gag
Caminandes builds one joke and then raises the stakes every thirty seconds. It is a tiny lesson in comic structure.
What to watch for
Every studio accumulates habits it never chose. Once a year we list them and ask whether each one still earns its place.
We schedule unstructured time on purpose. Some of our best ideas started as an afternoon with no plan and a stack of old magazines.
The finished piece rarely looks like the plan. That is fine; the plan was only there to get us started.
The film is released under a Creative Commons licence, so you can download it, study it, and share it freely.
