Museum Notes: The Modernist Poster Hall

Tools laid out on the studio workbench.

The poster hall is the quietest room in the museum and the loudest on the walls. We spent the whole afternoon there.

Taking notes by hand is slower, and that is the point. The friction forces you to decide what matters before you write it down.

Small improvements compound. A page that loads a little faster, a heading that reads a little clearer, and a form with one fewer field all add up.

Every frame here was shot on the day and printed without retouching. Click any photo to see it at full size.

Lovely write-up. The part about reading aloud is so true; I catch half my mistakes that way.
