Sketchbooks from the Lisbon Trip
Lisbon is built on hills, and apparently so is our sketchbook. Nearly every page has a staircase on it.
Small improvements compound. A page that loads a little faster, a heading that reads a little clearer, and a form with one fewer field all add up.
Good tools disappear. The ones we keep are the ones we stop noticing, because they do exactly what we expect every single time.

This made me dig out my old sketchbooks. Forgot how much I used to draw on trips.
Yes! Same experience here.
Lovely write-up. The part about reading aloud is so true; I catch half my mistakes that way.
Thanks so much! Let us know how it goes.

The photos in this one are gorgeous. What film were you shooting?
I watched the film again after reading this and noticed so many details I had missed.
